Gayla Fritts is a native of oklahoma. She is currentley finishing her second novel, "The Cubicle", as well as working on several other fictional books. Broken Mirror is her first published novel. Reviewers have compared her writing that that of O'Henry because of the great detail she gives concerning the human condition as well as vivid descriptions. She contributes that to the jobs she has held that has dealt with the public in a wide range of areas. Gayla has a Masters degree in human resource development and training. She is a poet and lyricist of many different works as well as a professional singer since the age of 14.
